Here are a couple of reminders about the extreme cold coming this weekend. Make sure you disconnect your outdoor water hoses from the faucets. If you have crawlspace vents close them. Open your sink cabinet doors. Also, leave the water dripping in all your sinks and tubs. Hopefully these thoughts will help someone from having their water pipes freeze.

Here is one more reason you should always get your home inspected before you buy. Yes that is the hot water heater mounted above the electrical panel.

During several inspections recently, I have noticed one issue. If you have gas heat or any gas appliances, you NEED CO2 detectors in your home. Not having these is a mistake that you might not wake up from. You can purchase these at most hardware stores very inexpensively.
