As we approach the end of 2020, the state of Scarsdale Real Estate is indeed strong. At the end of November, there were 74 single families on the market in the Scarsdale School District. This is a historically low number indicating a big drop in inventory levels. The number has been around 100 for years. 25 houses were sold in November this year, compared to 17 in November 2019....

Most of us are going to be away from their extended families this Thanksgiving. We have been urged by the CDC not to travel for Thanksgiving. In the supermarkets the frozen section is full of smaller turkeys and turkey breasts to accommodate smaller parties. It’s even made the news. But there will still be the Macy’s Parade on TV. There will be three football games to watch after that....

The state of Scarsdale Real Estate is strong. There are currently 113 houses on the market for sale. 33 of them were listed just this month, and 9 of them were actually listed in the past week. There were 9 closings in the past week. Our local real estate offices are closed. Agents are not allowed to have open houses anymore, and sellers rightfully do not want people to come into their house for viewings. [ 156 more words ]
