"Things Your Realtor Should Be Telling You"

🎀One of the biggest misconceptions about real estate is that an agent’s job starts and ends with showing homes.
In reality, some of the most important moments happen in conversations most people never see.
🏡This week, while touring homes with first-time buyers, one of them casually mentioned possibly purchasing a new car in the near future. It gave me the opportunity to pause and remind them of something incredibly important:
💥Before closing on a home, avoid making any major financial purchases or changes without first speaking to your lender.
That means:
• No new cars
• No furniture financing
• No opening new credit cards
• No large unexplained deposits or withdrawals
🛑Even small financial decisions can impact a buyer’s mortgage approval during the underwriting process.
Moments like this are why I believe my role goes far beyond opening doors. My responsibility is to help protect my clients financially, strategically, and emotionally throughout the process.
