Well this was fun!! Trying to be more creative with sharing tips for my future homeowners. I couldn’t get everything in the video so below is more information to get you started.

What should you do to prepare to purchase your home?

1. Connect with a Realtor to help guide you through all of the steps below.

2. Research loan programs and options with a mortgage lender (I can link you with the best MLOs in the business.)

3. Get pre-approved/pre-qualified. (Especially in this present market, you don’t want to lose out on a house waiting on a pre-approval. You also want to make sure you’re looking at homes in your budget.)

4. Save money for a down payment AND closing costs.

Buying a home is a big decision, so it’s important not to rush. Don’t be afraid to ask questions even if you’re not ready to purchase.

Like most states California is currently in a seller’s market and home prices have reached new record-highs across all the regions due to tight supply. Homes are moving nearly 46% faster than a year ago; with an average median time on the market of 7 days.
