I’ve been playing around with the spiral method for bouquet making—it looks simple, but wow, it’s trickier than it seems! 😅

My last dahlias? Total divas—wilted in just 2 days. Not exactly the vibe I’m going for, especially when gifting flowers! So this time, I made it my mission to find beautiful blooms with some serious staying power. 🌸 Let’s see how long these beauties last… fingers crossed! 🤞

🌸 A Budding Obsession 🌸

If you know me, you know I go all in on my hobbies. After years of plopping bouquets into vases (and feeling rather proud of my chaotic charm), I’m ready to level up!
I’m diving into the world of floral design with gusto—scouring YouTube for tutorials, browsing local flower markets, and reading floral design books. I’ve watched dozens of videos on tools, techniques, and color theory.

The real turning point? A YouTube video with Rajiv Surendra and Mikey Putnam They explored the NYC flower market, guiding us through the shopping process and then creating a stunning masterpiece. I was mesmerized!

Obsessed, I made another trip to Trader Joe’s. Here’s what I came up with from a handful of flowers from Trader Joe’s and a few bits of greenery from the yard. Flowers are therapy!
