Mia has released her new EP...
POUNCE.
Before I share her words, her vision, I must say, beneath the incredible performer and powerful presence that she is lives one of the most beautiful, vulnerable souls one could ever experience. I've watched her when she has been up but important. I've watched her when she feels like she has been kicked to the ground and while she may not feel like it, the strength she has is beyond description and has served as an inspiration to me on a daily basis.
As far as love, from the tiniest bug on a sidewalk (that's no exaggeration) to her family to her sensational fiancé, she cares and feels deeply for every living being at times at the expense of herself.
I've rambled, but I felt the need to share that in everything that God has ever created…He is up there smiling down at Mia.
Regarding POUNCE, n her words...
represents the uphill battle that is claiming your power. Throughout this journey, moments of undeniable confidence rise to the surface—heard in tracks like “Pounce” and “Bad.” Yet within a split second, vulnerability and the quiet grief of leaving behind a past self can emerge just as strongly, revealed in songs like “One Way Mirror” and “Changing of the Guard.” Despite the shifts between strength and fragility, the project remains grounded by a constant thread of self-awareness and an appreciation for the many layers that shape who we are.

I never say "I can't" but this time I will.
I can't and never will be able to put into words what this human being means to me. From the second I saw her face I was speechless and it's lasted for 26 years.
Each and every day she is an inspiration. Her talent, her beauty, her determination, her heart, her creativity, her light...I am and always will be blessed to call her my daughter.
Happy 26 Mia Girl...keep going...the best keeps coming and the even better is yet to come. Never forget...you deserve it!
