n for real estate began early, managing rental properties and flipping homes alongside his parents in the San Fernando Valley. Two years later, he joined Marcus & Millichap, where he specialized in the acquisition and disposition of apartment buildings and retail centers for investor clients. In 1993, his leadership skills were recognized when he became Assistant Manager at Coldwell Banker in Woodland Hills, where he completed their advanced management program. In 2001, Erik joined RE/MAX, quickly becoming a top producer and earning national recognition. His achievements include the Chairman’s Award, Diamond Award, RE/MAX Hall of Fame induction, and the Lifetime Achievement Award. At the peak of his tenure, RE/MAX International ranked him the #1 agent in Simi Valley, 5th in the nation, and 11th worldwide. In 2008, he opened his own RE/MAX franchise, successfully leading and growing the office for over a decade. In 2023, Erik launched Sellfors Realty, with offices in Simi Valley, Westlake Village, and Palm Desert. As a former Master Broker (NRBA), Certified Probate Specialist, and holder of the CDPE Short Sale Designation, Erik combines deep market knowledge with proven problem-solving skills. He remains committed to mentoring the next generation of real estate professionals while delivering exceptional results for his clients. A member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, and Conejo/Simi Board of Realtors, Erik upholds the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in every transaction. Erik sits on the board of directors for the National Association of Default Professionals which is committed to helping those in the foreclosure space. Beyond real estate, Erik’s competitive spirit and love for the outdoors shape his life. A former collegiate ski racer, he still enjoys skiing Mammoth with his family. Growing up along the beaches of Southern California, he developed a lifelong love for swimming and surfing, later competing in triathlons — including the Ironman in 2001. His passion for home remodeling and property investment continues to fuel his success both personally and professionally.
