Remember - ReMax is a dinosaur 🦖 and Real’s stock 📉 isn’t doing well.

Mergers and acquisitions aren’t always a good thing. A brokerage that does not believe in brick & mortar just bought thousands of brick & mortar locations. 🤔

Sure, it helps Real get into a lot of global locations instantly. But it’s like buying up a bunch of bad debt (ReMax isn’t profitable- they are bleeding). Is that necessarily a good thing?

Real’s trying to play “keeping up with the Joneses” may / may not play out well. Everyone is merging because none of these big brokerages are profitable.

AXEN Realty, on the other hand, is a sister company of the largest (AND VERY PROFITABLE) independent mortgage brokerage in the country.

It’s a crazy time to be in the real estate brokerage business.
