Starting today, the City will provide Lakewood residents up to five gallons of rock salt at no cost. Residents can pick up the rock salt at five locations throughout the City: Madison Park North Parking Lot; Lakewood Park Skate House; Cove Park; Kauffman Park; and Lakewood Dog Park. The program is for residents only. Interested residents must bring their own shovel and bucket to load material themselves.

ROAD OPEN!
Good news. The ODOT construction on Center Ridge just east of Dover is substantially complete and the detour will be removed TOMORROW! All traffic patterns will return to normal on Thursday. Thanks for the patience while Westlake infrastructure is improved for everyone's benefit!

Schools in Westlake are back to in session TODAY! There will be buses picking up kids and children walking and biking to school. Use extra caution on the roadways. Leave early and STAY OFF THE MOBILE DEVICES when driving. We will have extra patrols out.

We are so proud of the "Pride of Westlake" Marching Band for their recent honor as one of five honorees out of more than 300 nominees in the Best Band in the Land category!
