When do I start the home buying process?

Short answer: WAY sooner than you think! Let me explain:

The current market is very fast moving!

That means having everything in a row (financing, budget, knowledge of market, specific home search criteria, location of search, etc.) before you’re ready to start looking at homes is SO important.

This can be as far as 12 months out before your desired “home search start date”.

I’ll give you a quick tip: if you want to buy a house by the end of 2021, you should be reaching out to a lender and real estate agent now!

I like to call it “joining the future homeowners club”! 🏡

Service: (noun) the action of helping or doing work for someone

You’ve probably heard that real estate is a service industry. But what does that really mean and what does it look like?

When you hire a real estate agent, it is that agent’s job to work on your behalf: to put your wants, needs, and interests at the forefront of every action.

As a real estate agent, it is my duty to have the skills and knowledge it takes to guide and advise you through the process of buying or selling. It is also my fiduciary duty to act with Loyalty, Obedience, Disclosure, Confidentiality, Accounting, Care, and Diligence towards my clients.

Acting with true service is a great responsibility, but it is one that I am grateful to take on!
