Here's something we think every homebuyer should understand: Just because a lender approves you for a certain amount doesn't mean you have to spend it.

Your lender can help determine how much you qualify to borrow. But only you can decide how much you're comfortable spending each month. A mortgage payment is only part of the picture. You found the house. Your offer was accepted. You made it through inspections, financing, appraisal and all that paperwork.
And now that closing day is actually here... you feel a little sick.
