Modifications to the Flower & Jazz Festival due to inclement weather.
Break out your ponchos, umbrellas and galoshes... Unfortunately, mother nature has rained on our festival plans, but we will still have an event with some necessary modifications!

Here is what you can expect to see tomorrow from 10am-4pm:
Are you still in need of a gift for mom? Visit us at the former Stocksdale's Service Center (29 W Main St, Westminster, MD 21157) for a GIANT indoor flower sale. We will have beautiful hanging baskets, colorful combination planters, a station to make-your-own-planter (for our crafty and creative guests, plus a fun way to have the kids craft Mom/Grandma a gift!), an array of annuals to brighten your garden and porch, and NEW! drinkable planters & gift baskets will be available for purchase! Also, there will be a variety of artisans and food vendors (Blowfish Poke, Collision Course, and MrSoft Ice Cream Truck) that will be braving the outdoors to set-up as well.

But wait… there is more! Visit the Wi******er Exchange Building (15 E. Main St, Westminster, MD 21157) for an indoor shopping experience with vendors from the Downtown Westminster Farmer’s Market (10am-2pm) and shop the merchants inside the Westminster Exchange (10am-4pm) while you listen to live music from 100 Proof from 12:00pm-2:00pm.

You can still enjoy some live acoustic jazz music at the following locations:

Parking: Free parking will be available in all city municipal lots and on Main Street. For easy, convenient access to festivities we recommend parking at the Westminster Square Garage, behind the City Administrative Offices (45 W Main Street), the Sherwood Parking Lot (behind the Westminster Exchange Building (7 Distillery Rd) and the Longwell Parking Garage.

On Tuesday, November 30th ( ) several local businesses are going head to head to see who can raise the most money for the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster Maryland. The losers will be dropped in a tank of ice water!

Chamber President, Mike McMullin will face off against Chamber Chair, Steve Aquino. Mike says..."Even though November 30th is my birthday and the day my 10th grandchild is going to be born, don't let that sway you into favoring me over Steve. Steve's a good guy too!" :)
