Last night I had the pleasure of returning to the old stomping grounds Nova Southeastern University as a 2x alumna, this time to speak with a group of bright Honors students in the Farquhar Honors Program! 🎓💙

A special thank you to Dr. Aileen Farrar, Director, and Ashley Anderson, Academic Program Manager for the Farquhar Honors Program, for inviting me to speak and share my experiences!

It was especially meaningful to reflect on my time at NSU and the various programs and opportunities that helped shape my journey. As an alumna and current adjunct faculty member, I was grateful for the opportunity to share both my experiences as a student and the perspective I’ve gained since graduating.

My hope is that I was able to encourage these students to take advantage of every opportunity, stay curious, build meaningful connections, and make the most of their time at NSU 🦈

And a special shoutout to my fellow NSU Honors alumna and panelist, Anastasia Gower ✨

Always grateful for the opportunity to give back to the university that has taught me so much and allows me to live out my passion for connecting with students 💙

✨ Our job doesn’t stop when your offer is accepted, and it doesn’t stop when the inspector walks through the door. We’re involved EVERY step of the way 👣

The inspection is one of the most important steps in the home-buying process 🏡

It’s easy to walk into a home, fall in love with the kitchen, picture your furniture in the living room, and start imagining yourself living there. But the inspection is where we slow down and take a closer look at what’s really going on 👀

In this case, our buyer was concerned about an area of popcorn ceiling that was deteriorating. The inspector used thermal imaging to take a closer look at what could be happening in that area 🕵🏽‍♂️

This is exactly why inspections matter. They can uncover potential issues that aren’t always visible during a showing and give buyers a better understanding of the condition of the home so they can move forward with confidence.

And one thing we do? ➡️ We are always physically present at the inspection (you’d be surprised how many agents aren’t!)

When we represent you as a buyer, we attend the inspection with you, ask questions, take notes, and help you understand any findings.

And when we represent you as a seller, we’re there too. We want to make sure our sellers know what’s being identified, understand any concerns that come up, and are prepared to navigate the inspection process.
