Equity is earned. Many homeowners discuss their equity, but unfortunately, a significant number of them leave it on the table. When everything was at stake, they sold their home for less than the market value or agreed to less-than-ideal terms. The good news is that such costly mistakes can be avoided. I’ve learned a lot over my lengthy real estate career, selling homes right here in Westport.
