Beautiful place to kayak. Wonderful bird life. Peaceful. Launch permit required but easy to get if you plan ahead. Westport Parks and Recreation office is located within Long Shore Golf Club Park. Go up the drive and stay to the right. Turn right into the first parking lot. If you have a kayak sticker you may be exempt from having to get a separate launch pass. Check with the office for the latest details.
