New York City to Connecticut Relocation Real Estate Advisor
Connecting Fairfield County Living with New York Energy
Born and raised in Fairfield County, CT — and powered by 20+ years as a Manhattan resident — LJ Wilks brings the rare blend of hometown insight and New York energy to every real estate transaction. She understands the pulse of both markets and knows exactly how to guide clients navigating between them. For Buyers:
Making the leap from city life to the suburbs isn’t just a move — it’s a moment. LJ has lived it herself, which is why she’s tuned into the emotional and practical needs of NYC-to-CT buyers. From commute questions to neighborhood vibes to “Which field is my kid actually playing on?” She makes the transition smooth, informed, and even fun. For Sellers:
LJ is a strategic marketer with powerful reach across Fairfield County, the tri-state area, and her extensive New York network. She knows how to position a home so it speaks directly to the buyers most likely to fall in love with it. Backed by the Sotheby’s brand, she blends smart data, high-end presentation, and personal touches that elevate your home above the noise. Local Expertise with Community Roots:
Now a proud Westport resident, LJ lives the lifestyle she promotes — arts, culture, beaches, boutique shopping, and a food scene that rivals her NYC favorites. As a former Birchwood Country Club board member and a current Board Member of the Mid-Fairfield County Association of REALTORS®, she is deeply invested in the communities she serves. A Life Before Real Estate:
Before real estate, LJ built a diverse career across Major League Baseball (NY Mets), fashion, executive search, and entertainment — including 15 years as a stand-up comedian in Manhattan and on the road. That blend of tenacity, creativity, and humor shapes the unique way she advocates for her clients today. A Unique Agent with Unmistakable Style:
Fairfield County roots. Suburban expertise. And, as many will tell you, the best purple hair in the business. LJ is more than an agent — she’s your strategist, your connector, and your guide through one of the most dynamic markets in the country. As LJ always says:
“Fairfield County is steeped in history - it’s the people and the vision for the future that make it extraordinary.”
