When thinking about what to "teach the kids," focus on fundamental life skills like kindness, empathy, respect for others, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication skills, basic self-care, healthy habits, financial literacy, digital responsibility, and age-appropriate knowledge about the world around.

Teach them to work hard for what they want.
To build a good credit score.
To start planning for the future without losing perspective in the present.
To teach them that they can be all they want and that doctors, lawyers or computer engineering are not the only careers and that they can be also a master electrician, general contractor or a Master specialist hvac technician, to own his own business and become an entrepreneur.

Also teach them that life is hard but it's harder if you rely only on your parents, family or the system to support you and fill your needs because they didn't make an effort to move forward.

Let them know to read more than what they hear.
To use all their resources at hand and do no let anyone manipulate them.
To avoid the noise and all the gossip and to make their own decisions after a conscious analysis because then you will be at peace with yourself and be consistent with your ideas.

Teach them to be a contribution to society.
To love their parents and siblings and overall to be a good human being despite all the craziness on this world.
