A little reminder for my fellow real estate professionals…
Not every agent is supposed to be the same.
We don’t all market the same, we don’t all negotiate the same, we don’t all communicate the same, and we don’t all build our businesses the same.
And that’s a good thing.
The beauty of this industry is that every agent brings something unique to the table. Different gifts, different personalities, different strengths, and different ways of serving clients.
Different doesn't mean better, and different doesn't mean worse; it simply means different.
As Christians, we’re called to lead differently. We’re called to serve with humility, integrity, kindness, and grace. We don’t have to dim someone else’s light to make ours shine brighter.
There is enough business for all of us.
The success of another agent doesn’t take away from yours. Someone else’s strengths don’t diminish your value. Choosing encouragement over criticism will always make our industry stronger.
Real estate isn’t easy. There are busy seasons, slow seasons, stressful seasons, and seasons that can feel downright lonely. More than anyone, we understand the challenges that come with this profession.
That's also why it's so important to be part of a brokerage that encourages you, challenges you to grow, celebrates your wins, and helps carry you through the tough days. The people you choose to do business with matter.
So let’s choose community over comparison. Let’s celebrate each other’s victories. Let’s support one another through the tough seasons.
Let's give each other the freedom to serve in the way God uniquely created us to serve. Let's build each other up instead of tearing each other down.
Let’s remember that our calling is bigger than a transaction; it's to serve our clients well, leave a positive impact on the people we encounter, and reflect the kindness and grace we'd hope to receive ourselves.
