Ham and Bean Soup day today! My friend Geno bragged yesterday how much he loved my soups! I always give him a big container when I make any soup! I took that as a "hint hint". LOL
So I soaked 1 lb beans overnight. This morning I brought out ham bone and made Ham and Bean soup today! (Yes, I'm a morning person and I don't get disturbed in the am--so off I go). I add extra ham, carrots, celery, onion, bay leaves and salt/pepper. Simple! I cook it @20 minutes in my stove top pressure cooker (it takes 20 minutes to "pressure up"). I serve it with some parmesan cheese! Geno will be happy to get some!
