I was reading the Pa Association of Realtors daily email and was a little surprised by the following: "Nearly 70% of consumers who tried to buy in 2022 were unsuccessful. Around one-quarter said they made an offer, but did not go under contract, 26% said they delayed plans due to high existing home prices and 25% postponed their plans because they could not find a home." I certainly have clients that have postponed their search and many have not had their offer accepted, but I haven't seen those numbers before. I put in an offer last weekend for a home in the $500's, but so did 16 other agents! No, we didn't win the bid since we only went $30K over!! With inventory still low, it's still a challenge with competing offers. BUT, I think interest rates will come down, pricing with stabilize, and inventory will pick up as we approach the spring market. I'm an optimist! If you need anything or have any questions, just let me know. Have a great day! ~Susie
