⚠️ Bobcat Advisory – East Weymouth ⚠️

A known bobcat den has been identified in the Jackson Square area near Hill Street and Grant Street.

While bobcats rarely pose a threat to people, they are wild animals and may become protective of their young. Please help keep everyone safe by:

🐾 Keeping cats indoors, especially from dusk to dawn. 🐾 Keeping small dogs leashed and never leaving pets unattended. 🐾 Avoiding the den and never approaching or feeding a bobcat. 🐾 Supervising children when outdoors. 🐾 Securing pet food, garbage, and other potential food sources.

If you see a bobcat that appears injured, unusually aggressive, or poses an immediate threat to public safety, please contact the Weymouth Police Natural Resources/Animal Control Division.
