Storm Update from Mayor Molisse:

As we are currently in the peak of this intense Nor’Easter we extend a huge thank you to our public works crews, plow drivers, and First Responders who are out there in these extremely dangerous conditions.

With intense wind gusts peaking at over 70 mph and incredibly high snowfall rates, please stay off the roads and let our crews perform their work.

I am in constant contact with DPW Director, Emergency Management, and the Police and Fire Chiefs so that I can keep all residents updated as we move forward.

I am also in direct contact with National Grid. Currently, we have 1592 homes, or 5 percent of the town without power. They have crews and contractors in town trying to restore, but wind is hindering restoration.

I will keep everyone updated through town social channels. Please stay safe! We are all working to get us through this intense weather event.
