The more I focus on gratitude, the more I realize how much there is to be thankful for. Health, family, friends, good food, and laughter.

Between being a mom, having a fairly non-stop career and everything life throws my way, it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos. Sometimes I just need to get outside, clear my head, and appreciate the little things.(even if it was with a headlamp and scissors when I heard in the 10pm news that we were likely getting a frost 😂)

Gratitude changes everything, and nature is always my favorite reset. Get out there!

Pause. Read… to the lovely woman who left me a fairly nasty message this morning complaining that the return address label on my envelope was not in the right place and she had to turn over the envelope to open it… I’m not sure what has caused you such misery that you had to take the time out of your day to call, wait through the voicemail message, and then proceed to tell me that I should stop hiring idiots… see this girl here? She is my daughter and far from an idiot. She is a light in this world and if you can see this message I encourage you to walk over to your closest mirror and maybe take a look at a real idiot. The world can be harsh place and I typically brush this stupid stuff off… but my Maddie was SO proud of the work she helped me with all summer. This type of behavior seems to be common these days and I will not stand for it. Be kind because you never know what someone is going through. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk (and lady… if you can see this I hope you step on a sharp LEGO). 🤭💁🏼‍♀️
