The United Nations estimates that 1.6 billion people live in sub-standard housing, and 100 million people are homeless, the majority of whom are women and children. Companies like Tom’s Shoes have adopted this “One for One” model. For them, it’s for ev

ery shoe they sell, they will donate a pair of shoes to someone in need. For Cambridge Carter, it is for every home we sell, we will build a home for someone in need. This is the generation of change. We can make significant strides in alleviating poverty around the world. Our business model has three components: 1) to provide top notch real estate services to our local community, 2) to purposely limit our profits to keep more resources in our local community and 3) to reinvest our profits in home building efforts for the poor.
