🌅 Sometimes peace arrives disguised as a simpler life.

Many people spend years believing that more space, more responsibilities, or more possessions will bring greater happiness.

🏡 One of the most valuable parts of my work lately has been visiting senior living communities throughout the south suburbs and learning more about the options available to older adults and their families.

Last Friday, I had the opportunity to tour The Cottages of New Lenox with Laykin, who was incredibly welcoming and generous with her time.

What stood out to me was the warm, intimate feel of the community. Unlike some larger campuses, The Cottages has a smaller, more personal atmosphere that feels very much like home.

💙 Every community has its own personality, and I always appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the resources available to seniors and their families as they consider their next chapter.
