With the end of the year approaching many begin to think about the year ahead. Has your agency thought about what plans they are going to review for the upcoming year? Just today Los Angeles County, California had a tornado and New Jersey had an earthquake. Both of these locations were not majorly effected by these events because both were minor, but they serve as a reminder even that your agency may need to review and update their plans. With the recent outbreak of Ebola, all of the PEMSTAR’s team members has been extremely busy with assisting our customers and partners with their preparedness needs. Along with the recent Ebola preparedness PEMSTAR has also been teaching classes as usual. PEMSTAR would like to apologize for not updating our social media and our website as often as we would have like to. Congratulations to Giant Gymnastics of Sparta for completing their CPR renewal. This is the staffs 5th year of taking CPR with PEMSTAR. A job well done by all who attended.

This last week has been one of heartache and remembrance for all first responders and their families. New Jersey has lost three guardian angles who now have their wings and will watch over the rest of us.

Jersey City Police Officer Melvin Santiago was killed in the line of duty earlier today. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, JCPD and the entire Jersey City Community. RIP Officer Santiago.

On July 4th, 1776, 56 ordinary men signed the delectation of independence, in a pursuit of liberty, freedom of religious expression, and to be able to live free from tyranny. Because of that signing we now have the United State of America. On this day we remember all those who sacrificed. PEMSTAR would also like to thank the men and women who are serving in the military and in public safety that have to be away from there families.
