What’s your biggest insecurity?
Personal or professional. I’m genuinely curious. 🤍
As I’m standing here this morning doing the dishes, swapping out laundry, and doing all the very glamorous stay-at-home-mom things 😂… I couldn’t help but think about how differently people might describe me depending on who you ask.
Some would say, “She’s really quiet.”
Others would probably say, “She’s the life of the party.”
And honestly? They’d both be right.
I’m the type of person who reads the room. If I feel out of place or uncomfortable, I tend to get really quiet. But put me around big personalities, people who are talkative, or people I feel comfortable with, and I come completely out of my shell.
For the longest time, I’ve wondered why I’m like that.
And I think a big part of it comes down to worrying too much about how other people see me.
Am I talking too much?
Am I not talking enough?
Am I being too much?
Am I not enough?
Sometimes my own head gets in the way of simply being myself and putting myself out there.
And I’m realizing that I don’t want to let that fear hold me back anymore.
Because I am enough.
And good people love good people.
So maybe today is just a little reminder to myself — and maybe someone else needs it too — that we don’t have to shrink ourselves, change ourselves, or constantly wonder how we’re being perceived.
Just be you. ❤️
Now I want to know… what’s something you’ve realized is one of your biggest insecurities?
Personal, professional, or somewhere in between. No judgment here. 🫶🏼
