Hey! Just introducing myself again to my old & new followers. To my long-time followers, I know many of us went to high school together, & I love seeing your growth! I’m super proud of us & pray that you all are blessed with an abundance of joy & life. To my new followers, HEY! Realtors, lenders, inspectors, new people I’ve met along my almost 3 year journey in real estate & strangers! I’m super grateful for all the connections. Social media is such a great tool for: building new relationships, sharing life experiences, expressing opinions and views, sharing funny memes, giving out helpful tips, & so on.
I hope I’ve given the impression that it’s okay to reach out to me regarding anything I post. I’m not just a realtor; I’m a regular human being at the end of the day. I’m always eager to learn or try something new, & real estate was one of those endeavors. It can be scary looking from the outside in and wondering, “Can I really succeed as a realtor?” But you actually can. If you believe in yourself, surround yourself with the right people, & put in the work.
Before I got into real estate, I was working a 9-5 job and attending college full-time. I was overwhelmed. I always had an entrepreneurial mindset and I felt like college was a long-term investment, & I didn’t want to wait. I knew that if I had the tools for the things I was passionate about, I could do ANYTHING. I started looking into “YouTube University” & saw a bunch of videos about realtors. I thought, you know what, I think I can do this. With my job and school, it took me months to finish the required courses for becoming a realtor. I finally registered to take the state exam, passed on my first try, and it’s been a journey ever since.
One thing I’ll say about real estate is that you will never stop learning about the market & yourself. Real estate is such an internal growing experience. I’m grateful for all the interactions I’ve had. It has taught me maturity, communication, boundaries, patience, to listen more and talk less, understanding, & negotiation skills. Even though I do real estate full-time I dont just identify myself as a realtor. I am more than that. Im here to fulfill God’s purpose.
