Easter at our house 💙
There’s something really special about a table full of people who start as friends and somehow turn into family… and then your actual family shows up and it just feels even more complete.
It was one of those days. Great food, loud conversations, a little chaos (okay, a lot 😄), and so much love.
Also me, every holiday: “I don’t think we have enough food…”
Meanwhile we somehow end up with enough to feed a small village (or 100 people, casually) 😂
But honestly… nobody should have to spend a holiday alone. If there’s one thing I hope our home always is, it’s a place where people feel welcome, included, and part of something. Our door is always open.
The only thing missing was my dad, who’s back in Greece… where I’m sure he was having a very authentic Greek Easter (and probably eating even more than we did 😄)
And Valerie… we missed you, Dan, Sia, and Ian too. Even though we saw you at Thanksgiving, it still somehow feels like too long. We love our Charlotte trips, but it’s never enough. Hopefully next time we’re all around the same table again.
So grateful for my family and for the friends who feel like family. You all made the day really special.
