Subpanel neutrals and grounds were not isolated — a common but important electrical defect.

The homeowner attempted the repair himself, but installed a bus bar that was too small, leaving two ground wires improperly connected.

A licensed electrician was eventually called and corrected the installation properly.

Highest radon levels I’ve recorded to date ☢️

EPA average came in at 43.4 pCi/L with a peak of 76.5 pCi/L during the test—well above the recommended action level. Radon is no joke, and this is a perfect reminder of why testing matters.

If you haven’t tested your home, it’s worth it. Invisible, odorless, and potentially dangerous.

🔎 Home Inspection Find of the Day:
