A native of Lottsburg, Virginia, Jacob Trice brings deep Northern Neck roots and a strong sense of service and entrepreneurship to IsaBell K. He is proud to be the fourth generation of his family involved with Olverson’s Lodge Creek Marina, a beloved local business founded by his great-grandfather and grandfather, Frederick “Freddy Bear” Olverson. Growing up around the marina instilled in him both a love of the water and a drive to continue his family’s legacy of hard work and community connection. Following in that spirit of service, Jacob served in the United States Navy as a Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Petty Officer aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. He later trained new sailors in seamanship on the USS George Washington, honing his leadership skills and commitment to teamwork. In addition to his naval career, Jacob studied Marine Mechanics through a two-year program at the Northern Neck Technical Center where he competed in skills competitions, and continued his training at the Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida. Over the years, he has also pursued a variety of business ventures, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit that runs on both sides of his family. With a lifelong connection to the Northern Neck and a career built on service, hands-on expertise, and family tradition, Jacob is proud to help clients find their place in the community he has always called home.
