If you email it please put POST INSTALLATION ORDER in the Subject box. Our posts are painted daily so your selection will always arrive looking brand new. Our trained installers will find the most visible spot on your property, install your post perfectly straight the first time, being careful to watch for water lines and sprinklers, and we can even take a picture of your post and house for bank purposes and email you a copy ($5 fee). Our prices start at $50+ tax for Installation AND Removal, AND a post lease for 4-6 months ... Rider holders, brochure boxes, and wind detentes are available for a small extra charge, (about 1/3 to 1/2 price of our competition). Our average post install for a round-trip of 50 miles is about $60 + tax ... $50 rate is for most areas of Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs due to their shorter distance from us. I would like to train someone to install posts and handle the orders. We are paying $20 an hour to independent contractors (we do not withhold your tax, YOU DO.)

Apply with your name address and phone number along with references from those you have done work with in the past. We are looking for a clean-cut individual who has a desire to own the company in time. Our owner was appointed by the LAST Post Man here and now after 20 years it is time to find another post man to take the Boss' place.

Text us or call for an appointment at 760-406-1771. You really only need to be able to dig a hole and install a sign post with stone reinforcement. WE SUPPLY ALL TOOLS NEEDED! We have taught many people but in this case you can apply for the Golden Ticket and end up owning The Post Man in a few years. At full peak we can install 8 posts per day. You may have to do more. We do NOT go out when its hotter than 110 in the summer. (Federal Law) You install at your convenience, as an independent contractor. Most customers request same day service and we do our best to comply with an installed post within 23 hours.

You will work for us for 6 months or more and once you feel you can take over, tell us and we will begin the process.

Just so that you know how crazy things are presently, The Post Man installed a post yesaterday in Palm Desert. It would be listed here had it not sold in 10 minutes at "above market". Our installer said that he was filling out paperwork when a car meandering up the street, saw the For Sale sign and immediately swooped over to the curb to jot down the phone number and realtors name, then they were off to call the realtor. Bing Batta Boom, the house sold in 10 minutes.

Greetings. We've been busy. Please note, we now offer sizes from 80" (std length) to 90" max on our upright posts. On the order page there is a box for SIGN SIZE ACROSS SIGNTOP. IT is vitally important. If you have a Long sign, 30 - 36" long, BE SURE to request a TALL post or put the length FIRST and Width, last, in the size box. It will also hold gate and/or door codes. It is IMPORTANT to put correct sizes in this box as this tells your driver what to expect upon installation. Wrong Or MISSING info may be a problem. For EXACT placement, plant a construction flag with your business card stapled to it. The post will b placed in that exact spot.

To install the wind detente we will need your sign sent to us, via USPS or Your Delivery service, to our Whitewater Facility (about $10 USPS). It ALSO makes it MUCH easier and will speed the installation of your sign if you send it to us in advance. Two pieces of cardboard and ur sign in the middle with taped ends and a Label with our address is all you need, + about $10 FIRST CLASS postage to get it here the next business day at 10am
Sending your sign in advance allows us to save valuable time in the field by setting up your post and sign, drilling the proper holes for the eye screws and hardware

Indio and Palm Desert along with Rancho Mirage are patrolled by the Sheriff and Indio Police Dept. We do NOT advise going with a larger sign in those cities and most looking for homes will be watching for 18x24" signs. We manufacture & install according to C.A.R. standards, using Douglas Fir.
