SOLD 🏡

Earlier this month my buyer Kane closed on the purchase of his first home!

Kane was moving back to Wisconsin from Alaska to start a new job, and wanted to purchase a home to move into when he arrived. After viewing several houses, we wrote his first offer and it was accepted!!

He already has amazing plans for remodeling the space, and I cannot wait to see what he does!

HAPPY NATIONAL BOOK LOVERS DAY! 📚

Last year I probably read 4 books the entire year 🤦🏼‍♀️ College and grad school left me so burnt out with reading 😴

But this past year, my friends introduced me to one amazing book series and now I can’t stop reading! (Ladies, you know who you are, and I am forever grateful ⚔️)

So far I’ve read 26 books in 2022, and my goal for the year is 45 books 📖

One study showed that 1/3 of all current pet owners adopted at least one pet during Covid 🐶🐱🦎🐠

And with this quarantine furbaby boom, came an an increased impact of pets on the housing market as buyers and renters are willing to pay for the privilege of having pets 🐾

But owning a pet and renting can be difficult. A study by the National Association of Realtors showed that on average, renters are paying an additional $400 per year in pet housing fees on top of their rent.

In addition, in a survey taken among landlords, only 55% of them allowed pets, and only 43% of the landlords did not restrict size or type.

So when it comes to having large pets, multiple pets, or pets of certain breeds - finding a rental can be very difficult. And as a result, purchasing a home for their pet or future pets, has become a big draw for renters entering the housing market 🏡
