Whitefish Bay has always held a special place in their hearts.
As a third generation Bay family, our clients had always dreamed of raising their own kids in their hometown - the 4th of July parade, top-rated schools, walkable streets, the community they grew up loving. They watched the market patiently, but with homes often selling well over asking, their dream started to feel out of reach.
Then their grandfather passed away. It was a hard loss for the family - but it unexpectedly opened a door they'd never seriously considered.
When Grandpa's home came on the market, they assumed it would be out of reach. We sat down together, evaluated their current home, talked with their lender, and ran the numbers. To their surprise, it was actually within reach. With family on both sides of the transaction, everyone handled it with professionalism, transparency, and respect.
The call letting them know “You got the house!” remains one of our favorite moments.
Today, Grandpa's home is their home.
Our clients have made it their own- updating it while honoring the memories it holds, and are now raising their daughter in the same house that has meant so much to their family for generations.
With family just a few blocks away, visits happen almost every day.
