Okay so on April 27th I had the Honor and Privilege of attending the 15th annual “SPEAK THEIR NAME “ HUMP Memorial Service at Camp Horno in Camp Pendleton
California there is a mountain behind Camp Horno that the Marines have for Years Hu**ed (Hiked) up to the top and 15 years ago A Veteran Marine started the ANNUAL SPEAK THEIR NAME HUMP and erected a cross in the ground to Honnor the Fallen Marines and over the years each year another cross was added Honoring the fallen Marines from the different Wars from WWIl Korea Vietnam Afganaston to the current Wars. This year a cross to honor the fallen and their GOLD STAR Families was erected and placed at the Memorial. Their was also the last 2 Marines from a company that lost 59 Marines in Korea at the battle at Inchon Korea better known as the Frozen Chosin one is 93 and the other one is 88 years old they placed 59 dog tags on their cross in honor of the 59 members who died at Inchon. There also was 2 retired Colonels and 1 Active Duty Colonel who gave speeches about their experiences very touching. The active duty Colonel was in charge of the Marines that fought in Feluja Iraq and he spoke about losing Marines during that battle.
