City of Santa Ana: Coronavirus Emergency Rental Relief Fund

The City of Santa Ana recognizes the financial hardships faced by many of its residents due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In response, on April 21st the Santa Ana City Council approved a COVID-19 Response Funding Plan to provide $500,000 in emergency rental relief for very low-income households who are not able to pay their rent due to the Coronavirus.

Santa Ana residents impacted by the Coronavirus may apply online to receive $1,500 in emergency rental assistance toward any rent due after March 19th, 2020. Applications are available on Monday, May 18th at 8am. If the City receives more applications than available funds, applications received prior to the deadline will be randomly selected based on a lottery process. To be eligible, you must meet eligibility reuiqrements.
