Your February 2025 MLS stats are in🏡📈

Total home sales in February rose by 1.4%, hitting 432 units 🏠 compared to 426 units last year. Sales volume skyrocketed by 948.5% to $1,109.5 million. 💸 The median sale price also saw a jump to $240,000 from $231,750. Homes were selling fast, typically on the market for just 18 days and going for 100.0% of their list prices.💰 Active listings in the county also went up, now sitting at 1,226 units. This means there's a 2.1 months' supply of homes available for sale. The median list price for homes on the market is $299,900.

🏡📊 MARKET UPDATE 🏡📊
In September, the housing market in Sedgwick County showed some changes compared to last year. A total of 565 homes were sold, down from 622 units in September 2023. The total sales volume also decreased to $149.4 million from $168.3 million in the previous year. However, the median sales price remained steady at $240,000, similar to the prior year.

Median days on the market stood at 11 days, the same as August, however, it was up from 5 days in September 2023. Despite these fluctuations, the real estate market in Sedgwick County continues to offer opportunities for both buyers and sellers. Getting closer to a balanced market! 🤞
