Wendy embodies loyalty, adaptability, energy, and diligence throughout all aspects of your real estate journey. With a majority of her life spent in the Midwest, she wholeheartedly embraces the ideals and characteristics highly valued in her native state of Kansas. Over the last 29 years, Wendy has forged a successful career in relationship selling, gaining experience in various sales realms, including retail, fundraising, entrepreneurial sales, and real estate. Weigand & Sons Inc. for over 9 years and recently moved to Berkshire Hathaway Home Services PenFed realty with the closing of the Weigand Residential division. Beyond her professional endeavors, Wendy is devoted to her family—her husband, a high school sweetheart and member of the Wichita and Kansas City construction communities, and her two sons, both of whom attended Maize High School. Wendy maintains an active lifestyle, engaging in weekly tennis sessions, regular workouts, and yearly hiking excursions throughout National Parks. An avid reader, she actively participates in a monthly book club and also delves into professional development books. As a graduate of Kansas State University, Wendy loves to support KSU sports (Go Cats!) and is a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Leveraging her diverse moving experiences and highly adaptive nature, Wendy assists clients in navigating the intricacies of the buying and selling process. Her unique ability to connect with clients on a personal level has not only led to successful transactions but has also cultivated lifelong friendships based on mutual admiration for her drive and work ethic. Throughout the journey of buying and/or selling, Wendy not only acts as an advocate for her clients, but also becomes a trusted friend in the process. She is a member of professional organizations such as the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), Kansas Association of REALTORS® (KAR), REALTORS® of South-Central Kansas (RSCK), and South-Central Kansas Multi-Listing Services (SCK-MLS). Wendy volunteers her time with RSCK, serving on the Community Involvement Committee 2017-2023 and the RSCK Board of Directors 2020-present. RSCK BOD Secretary/Treasurer 2024, RSCK BOD President-Elect 2025, KAR Board of Directors 2020-present and Wichita District 5 Advisory Board.
