Markus Ristich Coldwell Banker Plaza Real Estate I was raised in Wichita and have called the ICT home for 20 years. In basketball season you can find me taking in a Shocker game with the family.

Attending high school at Wichita Northwest before completing my undergrad in Graphic Design at Wichita State University has created quite the proud patriot of river city. During the time I've called Wichita home, I met my wife Jessica, and in our 16 years of marriage we have been blessed with three beautiful daughters, Lexi (16), Izzy (13) and Ava (11); all hardcore baseball players (That's right

baseball). And after the season is over, we can be found at the baseball fields at McAdams Park where the girls play ball in League 42 and my wife and I volunteer throughout the year. Relaxing is a luxury when one has active kids, my wife and I do find time to play coed softball through the St. Peter Adult Softball League, which I run. And, of course, come April the KC Royals will throw their first pitch and I'll be watching. Friends and family are very important to me, and helping is just who I am. Understanding that it can be difficult to know where to begin after a life-changing event, I want to be the person someone can turn to in order to ease the burden, and to help take some of the stress out of moving forward.

Last year was an interesting and crazy year for all of us, and it was a year like no other in Real Estate. I am a recipient of the Top 25% Award for 2021! Up against just over 1 Million agents nation wide, I earned this for being in the top 25% for productivity over the last year.

The market has been so great lately that I've been too busy to post for awhile. But, I wanted to share some interesting market stats that just came out this morning.

The average sale price of homes in August was $194,300. That's an increase of 21.9% from August 2019 where the average sale price was $159,355.

But, the wichita area market is down 900 listings from this time last year. With low inventory and higher sale prices, now is the time to sell.
