Kansas gubernatorial candidate Senator Cindy Holscher is speaking out after President Donald Trump on Monday said that Canadian private jet ‌maker Bombardier must begin building its products in the U.S.

Bombardier, whose U.S. headquarters is located in Wichita, employs more than 1,200 workers who service jets, run the flight test center and build special mission aircraft for the U.S. Air Force.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Ty Masterson has not yet publicly commented on the matter.

TSA launched a pilot called Gateside by TSA PreCheck that lets people without a boarding pass get past security. DFW is one of 13 airports on the list, along with LAX, Las Vegas and San Diego.

You need TSA PreCheck and a Known Traveler Number. Apply online one to three days ahead, the pass is free and good for that one visit. You still go through PreCheck screening with valid ID. Kids can come but have to be on the application.

🤖 A US startup just opened a 90,000-square-foot facility in Texas — dedicated entirely to training humanoid robots for real jobs.

U.S. robotics startup Apptronik, now valued at more than $5.5 billion, has opened a nearly 90,000-square-foot "Robot Park" in Austin, Texas, to train humanoid robots for real-world jobs.

The new facility serves as a large-scale AI training center where Apptronik's Apollo humanoid robots practice tasks such as loading boxes, sorting items, and transporting materials in realistic warehouse, factory, retail, and logistics environments.

🧠 Many of the training sessions are currently guided by human operators, allowing the robots to collect massive amounts of real-world data that will help improve their AI and autonomy over time.
Apptronik calls the facility a "data factory" designed to accelerate the development of its next-generation humanoid robots.

💰 Backed by Google DeepMind and Mercedes-Benz, the company says its robots are being developed to help address labor shortages in industries such as manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics.
Apptronik also plans to open more Robot Parks in the future as it prepares for wider commercial deployment.

🇺🇸 This is exactly the kind of domestic investment the US needs to stay competitive. While China leads in humanoid robot shipments, Apptronik is building the infrastructure to close that gap — not just with better robots, but with the real-world training data that determines how useful those robots actually become on the job.

⚡ China is shipping robots at scale. America is building the facilities to train them better. The race is far from over.
