If you have worked with us or follow us very closely you have probably noticed that our real estate business has been shifting a bit in the last couple of years. 🤩 While Rodney has been working tirelessly to complete his masters degree program for Clinical Counseling (🎓CONGRATULATIONS RODNEY!) I have transitioned to more fully focusing on our Real Estate business, and have been LOVING all of the opportunities to serve our clients.

This past year was my EIGHTH YEAR as a REALTOR and it was my best year yet!! Despite the less than ideal market conditions, I just received a production award for my sales volume in 2025!! 🎉 🤸🏼‍♀️🙌🏼🏡❤️

Thank you to everyone who referred their friends and family to us and thank you to all of our wonderful clients who put their trust in me to guide you through the process. Rodney and I both worked some TOUGH DEALS last year and we came out on top! Betsy just wrapped up one of our toughest real estate transactions ever. The full story would be a whole 📖chapter book, full of ups, downs, and valuable lessons…but we will get straight to the heart of it.❤️

Almost a year ago we were referred by a friend to help sell a beautiful 1980s estate on the lake. The sellers’ beloved father had purchased the home in the early 2000s and loved all that living in this unique neighborhood on the lake had to offer. After the end of his devastating battle with cancer, his family was facing the task of managing the probate process and the sale of the estate.

Betsy was grateful to have the opportunity to guide them through the process—professional staging and photos, marketing, open houses, negotiations, repairs, new marketing, more negotiations, more repairs, and finally CLOSING.

A few days before closing she was visiting with the seller about the journey and how thankful we all were to be at the finish line. The seller expressed that she felt like she could finally grieve.

Needing to sell a home can be due to all sorts of circumstances— often times full of excitement but sometimes grief. We love our clients and are so grateful to be by their sides guiding them through the process even in the hardest times.

Pictured here is the closing gift Betsy made for the whole family. It is an ornament, made from an old Google image, that caught their dad with leaf blower, doing what he loved —caring for his beautiful home. ❤️
