Iāve spent most of my life fighting those wordsā¦
Not good enough.
Not pretty enough.
Not funny enough.
Not athletic enough.
Not winning enough.
Not picked firstā¦
Sometimes not picked at all.
Not worthy of the invite.
Not included.
Not seen.
And if Iām being honestā¦
For a long time, everything I did was trying to prove somethingā¦
To that one person.
That one moment.
That one voice that made me feel less than.
But hereās what I finally realizedā¦
You donāt heal by proving them wrong.
You heal by no longer needing their validation.
