The Wilkes Genealogical Society will be providing an overview of genealogical research and share some of the resources we have at the library.

This is a free weekly session on Mondays at 1:00 pm.

The Wilkesboro Creepy Creek Trail is coming back to Shelton Play Park this Halloween.

📍 Shelton Play Park at Cub Creek Park

🎉 Free admission

Costumes, candy, and trick-or-treating along the trail, hosted by the Wilkesboro Police Department and the Town of Wilkesboro Fire Department. More to come as we get closer!

Wilkes County Schools would like to thank North Carolina Senator Eddie Settle for his commitment and support of our school system. Senator Settle presented our high school principals with funding totaling $40,000 to provide support for our high school band programs.

Looking for volunteer hours? Here’s your chance.

Join Taylor from Adult Services for an hour of volunteering at the Library's plot at the Cub Creek Community Garden! We'll be watering, weeding, harvesting, and looking at all of the lovely plants growing in other plots. No experience required!

If you're looking for the address, it is right next to the Hidden Oaks Dog Park (206 S. Bridge St, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
