FEATURE FRIDAY 🏡

Some homes simply provide shelter. Others tell a story.

Standing proudly since 1890, 1853 Moravian Falls Road is one of those rare homes that reminds us why old houses are so special. Through generations of change, this farmhouse has remained strong, welcoming, and full of character.

From the wraparound porch to the spacious kitchen addition and sunroom, this home blends the craftsmanship of a bygone era with the comforts today’s buyers are looking for. Every room feels like it has a story to tell, and every corner reflects the care that’s been poured into preserving it over the years.

What I love most about this home is that it doesn’t try to be trendy. It simply embraces what it has always been—a well-built farmhouse filled with warmth, history, and timeless charm.

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a piece of Wilkes County history, this may be the one.

JUST SOLD | TBD Mt. Sinai Rd

Some transactions are about real estate. Others are about hope.

Today, I’m celebrating the sale of TBD Mt. Sinai Rd, but this one is extra special. Through a partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, we were able to help secure land for Frank, who is still living in a home that was damaged by Hurricane Helene.

This property is the first step toward something much bigger—a fresh start. Soon, Frank will have a brand-new home through the Samaritan’s Purse, a safe place to call his own and a new chapter after so much uncertainty.

As a Realtor, I get to be part of a lot of milestones, but this one reminds me why I love what I do. It’s about people, community, and neighbors helping neighbors.

I am incredibly grateful for the work continues to do right here in our county. Their commitment to helping local families rebuild after disaster is making a real difference, and Frank’s story is just one example.

The first step is complete, and I can’t wait to stand alongside Frank at the home dedication when the project is finished and the keys are handed over.

Wilkes County is blessed to have organizations and people who show up when it matters most. Today, I know Frank is feeling that blessing too. ❤️

JUST SOLD | TBD Duck Creek Road, Lenoir

35.7 acres. Endless possibilities.

A blank canvas is one of the most exciting purchases a buyer can make. With the potential for mountain views, room to spread out, and privacy that’s hard to find, this property is ready for its next chapter.

The American dream isn’t always a house…..sometimes it starts with a piece of land and a vision for what could be.

Congratulations to my repeat buyers! What started in Wilkes has crossed the county line and I can’t wait to see what this beautiful property becomes over the next few years. Land ✔️…House plans🏠 ✔️the process…Priceless🌄

✨ JUST SOLD ✨

Some homes are more than a property—they’re a lifetime of memories.

This sale was especially meaningful as I had the privilege of helping a wonderful family navigate the sale of their parents’ home. Even after their parents were gone, these heirs continued to lovingly maintain the property, caring for it as if Mom and Dad were still coming home each day.

Like many real estate journeys, there were a few bumps along the way, including a contract that didn’t make it to the finish line. But through it all, they remained patient, gracious, and committed to finding the right person to carry this home into its next chapter.

Last Thursday, that chapter began.

Thank you for trusting me with such an important piece of your family’s story. It was truly an honor to walk alongside you through this process, and I’m so grateful we found the perfect new owner for a home that was clearly loved so well. 🏡💛

🏡 ❤️

Over the last eight months, my family has been fighting for my dad’s life.

What started as a search for answers became months of appointments, phone calls, advocating, and eventually a diagnosis that changed everything. Along the way, there were days I answered messages late, needed to rearrange showings, or stepped away from work to sit beside him.

For a while, I found myself apologizing for that.

Then I realized something important: real estate agents are people too. We have families we love, hardships we carry, and moments that matter beyond a transaction.

To the agents who offered to pick up signs, cover something for me, or simply said, “Take care of your family”—thank you.

To the clients who told me, “Don’t apologize. Family comes first.”—thank you.

And to anyone who felt they needed to move on because I missed a message or couldn’t be in two places at once, I understand that too.

My dad passed away a little over a week ago, and while my heart is still learning how to navigate that loss, I’m incredibly grateful for the grace, kindness, and understanding so many people showed my family during this season.

Behind every business is a person. Behind every Realtor is a family.

And for those who gave me the space to be both a daughter and a Realtor when I needed it most, I’ll never forget it.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, cookouts, or time off work. It’s a sacred pause to remember the men and women who laid down their lives for freedoms most of us use every single day without even thinking about it.

“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”
— Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today, may we never be silent in our gratitude.

We remember the sacrifice.
We honor the families who carry the weight of that loss long after the ceremonies end.
And we thank those who gave everything so we could live freely.

From our family to yours, may today be filled with remembrance, gratitude, and appreciation for the brave souls who never made it home. 🇺🇸

Some closings are exciting… and some carry a deeper meaning. ❤️

This one was never just about buying land.

After the devastation and flooding that followed Helene in the Asheville area, my sweet clients knew they wanted to find their way back home… back to peace, quiet mornings, mountain views, and a place where they could finally breathe again.

And now, over 31 beautiful acres later, they’ve found the place where their forever sanctuary will be built on Prathers Creek in Laurel Springs🏞️ A place for restoration. A place for family. A place to plant roots again.

Walking this journey with them has been such an honor. Their patience, faith, and trust through every step of the process never went unnoticed. Some homes are purchased for convenience… but this land was chosen for peace.

Congratulations to my incredible clients Michael and Lori on finding your way back home again. 🤍

Some transactions are stressful… and some remind you exactly how smooth real estate can be when everybody works together. ✨

145 S Quail Circle officially closed, and this one was a great reminder that good communication and teamwork still matter. Buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, and agents all worked together from start to finish with no delays, no chaos, and no last-minute surprises — just a smooth closing all the way around. 🙌

Honestly, those are the transactions that make this job so rewarding.

Congratulations to the buyers and sellers on this next chapter, and thank you for trusting me to help guide the process! 🏡

Have you ever had an experience where everything just fell into place exactly the way it was supposed to? 👇

Maybe it’s the sound of Roaring River flowing nearby. Maybe it’s the quiet. Maybe it’s the fact that this home was built with wood milled right from the property itself. Or maybe it’s just the feeling that life could slow down a little here.

Sitting on 5.2 acres with a barn previously used for horses, garden spaces, and the kind of usable land that’s getting harder to find, this cabin-style home offers warmth and character from the moment you walk in. The loft space, flexible basement area, and peacefulness surround this place in every direction.

And while the property itself isn’t riverfront, being able to see and hear the river from home adds something special you just can’t duplicate.

I think what I love most about this one is that it doesn’t feel overly polished or manufactured. It feels authentic. Comfortable. Peaceful. Like a place where memories would naturally happen.

Could you see yourself living this lifestyle?
