Meet Sonia Neal, a valued member of the Holiday Inn Express Wake Forest family! ❤️

Sonia has been a familiar and much-loved face at our hotel since 2016, and this year we were proud to celebrate a very special milestone—her 10-year anniversary with our team! 🎉

While Sonia works full-time for the government, she has continued to make time to be part of our hotel family on a part-time basis. Her dedication and commitment over the past decade truly say a lot about the kind of person she is.

Over the years, Sonia has become someone our team can always count on. She brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine willingness to help wherever she is needed. Her experience and knowledge of the hotel have made her an important part of our team.

What makes Sonia especially special is the care she shows toward our guests and her fellow team members. She brings a warm and welcoming presence to the hotel and has built wonderful relationships with both guests and coworkers throughout the years.

🌭🐾 A beautiful day, some delicious food for Employee Appreciation, and a visit from one of the hotel’s most beloved personalities! The Craddock Terry Hotel team took a break to enjoy a special treat—and spend a little time with Penny Loafer, affectionately known as Penny!

As the official mascot, Penny’s name is a nod to the Craddock Building’s history as a turn-of-the-century shoe factory. 👠🐾 She’s always ready to bring a little extra personality and charm to the Craddock Terry experience!

Meet Daphne Mullins, a valued member of the Western Front Hotel family!

Daphne has been part of the Western Front team since shortly after the hotel opened in 2018. Over the years, she has become a familiar and welcoming face to our guests and a wonderful part of our team.

Daphne believes that working in hospitality is a rewarding experience—not just a job. She takes pride in going above and beyond for our guests and making their stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible.

When she’s not working, Daphne enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, or relaxing at home with her spoiled pup, Logan. 🐶

Fall is Daphne’s favorite time of year, and she loves the crisp scent in the air, the beautiful changing colors, and cooking anything with cinnamon and nutmeg! 🍁

Introducing Cornerstone Stars | Bob Howe

🔧 Meet Bob Howe, Maintenance Engineer at My Place Hotel in Randolph!

Bob joined the My Place team in May and has quickly become an important part of the hotel. A native Vermonter who grew up in Windsor, Bob has called Tunbridge home for the past 10 years.

Bob is a proud dad to two boys, ages 9 and 11, and when he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with them—especially hanging out at the river. He also loves to travel and has visited Australia and New Zealand and even backpacked around Europe for a month! 🌎

A few fun facts about Bob: his favorite color is orange, he’s a big Chicago Bears fan, and he definitely doesn’t like to sit still! Bob is always looking for something to do and loves having an organized list of projects to tackle. He’s constantly looking for ways to improve the hotel and its surroundings.

What Bob enjoys most about working at My Place is the flexibility, the people he works with, and hearing the stories of the guests who visit us. And, of course, he especially enjoys meeting all of our four-legged guests! 🐶🧡

🔧 Meet Nehemiah Johnson, one of the newest members of the My Place Hotel King George team!

Since joining us in May, Nehemiah has quickly become a fundamental part of the team. He’s always willing to jump in, help wherever needed, and find solutions to any issues our guests may have. One of Nehemiah’s favorite things about working at My Place is the people he gets to work with and the opportunity to meet new people from all over. He also enjoys learning and growing in his maintenance career.

A few fun facts about Nehemiah: his favorite color is green, and he’s happiest enjoying chicken parmesan and spending time with his fiancée. 💚🍝 His dream vacation—and his happy place—is Ocracoke Island in North Carolina. He loves the peaceful lifestyle and ghost tours so much that he returns every year to recharge his batteries! 🌊👻

🌙 Meet Duwuantae “Tae” Tolbert, Night Auditor at Craddock Terry Hotel!

Tae has been part of the Craddock Terry team for nearly 13 years. One of his favorite things about working night audit is being able to complete his tasks in a quiet environment.

Originally from Georgia, Tae enjoys visiting his family in the area and spending time with his four children. His favorite vacation has been to Pigeon Forge, and he hopes to visit Las Vegas and New Orleans someday. He also loves experiencing new cuisines wherever he travels. 🍴✈️

Outside of work, Tae enjoys watching football, movies, and listening to podcasts, with Joe Budden being his favorite. He especially enjoys comedy movies! 😂

In addition to his work at Craddock Terry, Tae works full-time as a behavioral counselor at a local elementary school.
