- Annual tax credit of $5,000 for middle-class first-time homebuyers for two years.
- Estimated to assist more than 3.5 million middle-class families.
💵 Down Payment Assistance:
- $25,000 in down payment assistance for first-generation homebuyers.
- Estimated to assist 400,000 families.
🏠 Lowering Closing Costs and Mortgage Insurance Premiums:
- Actions to lower closing costs and refinancing fees.
- Waiver of lender's title insurance on certain refinances.
- Reduction of mortgage insurance premiums for FHA mortgages.
👷Housing Supply Expansion:
- Legislation to build and renovate over 2 million homes.
- Expansion of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) to build or preserve affordable rental units.
- Introduction of Neighborhood Homes Tax Credit for affordable homeownership.
- $20 billion competitive grant program to support affordable multifamily rental units.

- Doubling annual contribution to Affordable Housing Program by each Federal Home Loan Bank.
- Estimated to raise an additional $3.79 billion for affordable housing.
