Wow, diagnosis to recovery in 6 months. My God is good all the time. I have been mostly out of circulation for the past six months but I am very happy to say that the prayers of our faith community have prevailed. I am back in the Frey and am accepting calls for home inspections. I have done a few already and am glad to be back.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers and loving support.

How much better could it be on a Monday morning. Coffee, fire ring blazing, sitting in a camp chair by the lake taking in all the beauty of nature. Short camping trip to Stonewall Jackson always calms the soul.

As most of you who are reading this will know I am not a very frequent visitor to Facebook. Well, 2019 is upon us and I am anxious to see what the New Year has in store. I AM still performing Certified Home Inspections in the Mid-Ohio Valley, just as I have since 1997. My how the time flies. This has been a very wet winter! With spring coming upon us and with the typical spring rains comes the need for home maintenance. Here are some tips intended to help you be prepared for the seasonal changes. Check/remove gutter debris. Ensure that window wells have not filled with leaves. Downspouts should not release water at the foundation. Trim vegetation from house walls and away from A/C Check/prevent standing water ten feet from home Plan to clean A/C fins per MFG. recommendations. Check overhangs and flashing for openings where birds could enter and nest. Look for raised or missing shingles and loose flashing. The old adage, "An ounce of protection is worth a pound of cure" is still true today.
