Would you choose the updated house farther out, or the dated house in the location you love?
Personally, I’d lean toward the location. 📍

Paint, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms and other cosmetic updates can be tackled over time. But you can’t change the neighborhood, commute, proximity to family, or the places you love being near.

Of course, every buyer’s priorities are different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The key is knowing which compromises make sense for you.
