Help Identify Suspect in Copper Theft Cases in Williams County!

The Williams County Sheriff's Office is seeking public assistance in identifying the individual shown in the attached security footage. The images are from a surveillance camera at a site where copper thefts have occurred. Authorities believe this person may be connected to multiple theft incidents across the county.

I have attended many CPR classes over the years, but was never told this…..
When you are alone and have a heart attack. What are you gonna do then ?
A rarely good post that can't be shared often enough:

1. Take a 2 minute break and read this:
Let's say it's 5:25 pm and you're driving home after an unusually hard day's work.

2. You are really tired and frustrated.
All of a sudden your chest pains. They are starting to radiate in the arm and jaw. It feels like being stabbed in the chest and heart. You're only a few miles away from the nearest hospital or home.

3. Unfortunately you don't know if you can make it..

4. Maybe you've taken CPR training, but the person running the course hasn't told you how to help yourself.

5. How do you survive a heart attack when you're alone when it happens? A person who is feeling weak and whose heart is beating hard has only about 10 seconds before losing consciousness.

6. But you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and very strongly! Deep breaths before every cough. Coughing should be repeated every second until you arrive at the hospital or until your heart starts to beat normally.

7. Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs and coughing movements boost the heart and blood circulation. Heart pressure also helps to restore a normal heartbeat. Here's how cardiac arrest victims can make it to the hospital for the right treatment

8. Cardiologists say if someone gets this message and passes it on to 10 people, we can expect to save at least one life.

9. FOR WOMEN: You should know that women have additional and different symptoms. Rarely have crushing chest pain or pain in the arms. Often have indigestion and tightness across the back at the bra line plus sudden fatigue.

It’s here chip in and help keep our town clean!

It's time once again!

The City of Williston’s annual Spring Clean Williston event is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 from 8 to noon!

In the event of inclement weather, Clean Williston will be held on Saturday, May 3.

Individuals and groups interested in participating in this year’s spring Clean Williston event can register online for one of 40 zones. Register online at http://bit.ly/CleanWilliston.

Volunteers are asked to meet at 8:00 a.m. at Williston Public Works located at 1121 5th Street East in the north lot on the day of the event. Individuals who do not register for a zone in advance are welcome and will be assigned to a zone!

Volunteers will receive a free Clean Williston t-shirt (limited quantities and sizing available) and a light breakfast. Public Works will provide safety vests, gloves, and garbage bags.

Full garbage bags can be left on the side of the road in each zone for pickup or individuals can bring their bags to Public Works for disposal. Participants are also asked to return their safety vests, gloves, and any unused garbage bags either to Public Works, or to leave these items with their full garbage bags.

While picking up trash, volunteers are encouraged to take pictures and post on social media using and tagging the City of Williston.

After completing their zone(s), volunteers should call Public Works at 701.577.6368 to let them know about a garbage pick up. Garbage bags can be left on the side of the road, as well as safety vests, gloves, and any unused bags.
