PSA, just went to this new urgent care at lake and Skokie in wilmette for a sinus infection. Great experience, super easy, very clean and professional. They also have an xray machine if you possible broke something. Good alternative to IBJ. Doctor that owns it used to work in the ER for Northwestern and started this place.

We, unexpectedly, lost our sweet Spotty tonight. He was simply the best. We are all heartbroken. He brought us so much joy for almost ten years. I’m hoping he found his bestie, Lucy, and they are running around together.

RIP Spotty, you’ll forever be my baby 🥰

We said goodbye to my Great Auntie Helen today, at the young age of 103! It’s the end an era as she was last living sibling of my grandparents. I have many fond memories of Sunday dinners, playing the dice game, getting $5 bills (and thinking I was rich) when I was a kid, her plastic covered sofas, and more. Thinking of her today, I just remembered how happy she was, truly loved life and being with people.

I can’t help but be a bit disappointed in myself that I didn’t visit much the last few years. It’s a good reminder to take the trip, write the card, make the call. Happy to take the time to visit with my dad and uncles that made the trip.

Rest in Peace, Auntie Helen 💕
