The last time the Atlantic was this quiet, WWI was starting🤯 Thank the super El Niño, the Pacific is NOT having the same year!

But 40% of hurricane activity happens from late September on, so while the map is blank:

1️⃣ Walk through your house with your phone recording. Drawers, closets, garage. If you ever file a claim, that video is worth thousands.

2️⃣ Ask your insurance agent one question: “What’s my hurricane deductible?” On a lot of coastal policies it’s a percentage of your coverage, not a flat number, and most people find that out after the storm.

3️⃣ Been meaning to look into flood insurance? Most policies take about 30 days to kick in. You can’t buy it the week a storm gets a name. A quiet year is exactly when you make that call.

**This is not insurance advice, talk to your insurance agent about your policy. I’m just the one selling coastal properties, reminding you to make the call while the ocean looks calm.
